Making the move from Sean McDermott to Joe Brady at head coach has resulted in the Bills being a pass-heavy offense. Buffalo ranks seventh in PROE after finishing 28th in the metric last season.
Facing a Chargers defense that has been a pass funnel this season, the Bills should continue to rely on this team’s passing attack and Allen should have a huge day through the air. Los Angeles is giving up the fewest yards per rush (2.7), but the sixth-most yards per pass (8.0).
Jacoby Brissett threw for 277 yards vs. the Chargers in Week 1 and even the 38-year-old Kirk Cousins finished with 253 yards vs. Los Angeles in Week 2. These two veterans don’t even compare to Allen and his passing yards line being as low as 239.5 yards for this matchup is disrespectful, quite frankly.
