Rams vs. Broncos NFL Player Prop Bets and Picks for Sunday Night Football

Updated:

By: Sean Barnard

In the final matchup of today’s Week 3 NFL Sunday slate, the Los Angeles Rams will face off with the Denver Broncos. Both teams entered this season with deep postseason aspirations and are off to 1-1 starts to the year.

Looking at the odds for the Week 3 SNF matchup, the Rams enter as 1.5-point favorites with -130 Moneyline odds on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Broncos hold +110 odds to pull off the upset, with the game total set at O/U 44.5 points.

But there are plenty of ways to get involved in the action beyond backing a side or total. Let’s take a look at my top three favorite player props for the Week 3 Sunday Night Football matchup.

Rams vs. Broncos Odds

Rams vs. Broncos NFL Player Prop Bets for Sunday Night Football

Bo Nix Under 15.5 Rushing Yards (-109)

If it had not been for the broken bone that Nix sustained in his right ankle during the postseason victory over the Bills, the Broncos very well may have been playing in the Super Bowl last year. But Nix was forced to miss the remainder of the playoffs, and the bulk of his offseason was spent with recovery in mind. Nix was ready for the opening week, but has not leaned on his legs at nearly the same rate.

Looking at the production last season, Nix tallied 82 rush attempts for 356 yards and five touchdowns. This comes out to 4.9 rush attempts per matchup and 20.9 rushing yards per game. During his rookie season, the Oregon product tallied 92 rush attempts for 430 yards and four scores. Nix averaged 5.4 rushing attempts per game and generated 25.3 rushing yards on average. Through the opening two matchups of this season, the 26-year-old has tallied just eight rush attempts for eight total yards. Nix was averaging 2.3 scramble attempts per game in 2025, and he has just one total scramble attempt thus far on the season.

While any lingering effects from the injury certainly do not help the outlook, his lack of rushing chances have felt largely schematic. Davis Webb took control of offensive coordinator duties this offseason, and there have not been as many chances for Nix to make an impact with his legs thus far. Don’t expect the matchup with the Rams to change this, as they lean on one of the most dynamic defensive fronts in football even while battling some injuries. Denver is banged up at the running back position, and expect Los Angeles to overplay Nix in any read option opportunities, given the state of the depth chart. Expect the Broncos’ standout to make almost the entirety of his impact through the air, and for the 15.5 rushing yard total to be too lofty.

Blake Corum Over 47.5 Rushing Yards (-113)

On the other side of the rushing battle, Corum has continued to make his case for why he deserves a more prevalent role in the offense. Kyren Williams still headlines the rushing attack for the Rams, but Corum is proving to be a dynamic pairing alongside of him. Through the opening two weeks of the season, Williams has tallied 23 rush attempts for 126 rushing yards and a touchdown. Corum has been given 22 rush attempts and converted these into 133 yards on the ground.

This is a favorable matchup for both running backs, as the Broncos have struggled to stop the run so far this season. While the outlook for this roster is built upon a defensive foundation, Denver has not looked the part in the early stages of the year. Through the first two weeks, the Broncos rank 29th in total rushing yards allowed, 23rd in rushing touchdowns conceded, 30th in net yards per rush attempt, and dead last in opponent rush EPA. The Jacksonville Jaguars tallied 95 total rushing yards against the Broncos last week, while the Chiefs gashed Denver for 220 total rushing yards in the season opener.

Corum is averaging 6.0 rushing yards per carry this season and has showcased an impressive level of pop with the ball in his hands. He runs hard, embraces contact, and has done a nice job getting the most out of every rushing opportunity. It feels that Corum may gradually take on more responsibility in the rushing attack as the season progresses, but he still has a clear role right now. He has tallied 54 and 79 rushing yards in the opening two matchups, and expect him to build off this in his most favorable matchup thus far.

Jaylen Waddle and Terrance Ferguson to Combine for 150+ Receiving Yards (+239)

In the combined receiving yards portion of DraftKings Sportsbook’s player prop menu, I am getting a little creative and backing expected impact players on both sides of this matchup. Plenty of attention was given to the potential impact of Waddle after the offseason trade. But it has been a tale of two games for the former Dolphins’ star. Waddle was limited to just one reception for two years in the opener, before breaking free for eight receptions and 138 total yards last week. Denver made it a point to get him involved early, and he rewarded the team with multiple game-changing plays.

This is a strong overall Rams’ defense, but Waddle and the passing game are the clearest path to the Broncos having success. Denver did a nice job learning on quick passes to put the ball in their playmakers’ hands and allow them to make an impact after the catch. Waddle put this on display last week, and this should be impactful against the Rams’ man-heavy defensive approach. He will see a steady diet of targets throughout this game, and always has the ability to take any given catch for a massive gain. The standard receiving prop is set at 60.5 yards on DraftKings Sportsbook for Waddle.

Ferguson also has a favorable outlook in this matchup. Last year’s second round pick saw his role grow as the season progressed and has some rare big play ability at the tight end position. While Colby Parkinson will also play a role in the production at tight end, the Rams are not afraid to lean on two- and three-tight-end sets at a high rate. This should especially be expected to be the case given the injury that Puka Nacua is dealing with and the production in the offense that will need to be created without him. With Nacua out last week, Ferguson pulled in six passes for 54 yards and a touchdown. Don’t expect his role to shrink, especially against a Broncos’ defense that gave up 71 yards to Travis Kelce in the season opener. The standard receiving prop for Ferguson is set at 50.5 receiving yards on DraftKings Sportsbook for this matchup.

Both of these players had a bit of a breakout game last week and still have room to grow. If you were to combine their receiving total in Week 2, Waddle and Ferguson tallied 192 yards through the air. Expect each pass catcher to remain a prevalent part of their team’s respective offensive attack and make a strong impact through the air. Leaning on the combined total allows either player to lead the charge in reaching this receiving yard total, and expect both to see a few chances to make a big play throughout the matchup. Count on both key offensive weapons to make their mark on tonight’s matchup, and for the 150-yard receiving total to be too low.
