This week’s edition of NXT features the return of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, which is back for the first time since 2024! This is the 11th edition of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, which began in 2015. Two matches are already scheduled for NXT in addition to the start of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
WWE announced the 14 teams in the tournament: BirthRight, Mini Vikingo & Starboy Charlie, Fraxiom, DarkState, Romeo Moreno & Noam Dar, Los Americanos, Vanity Project, Tokyo Bad Boys, Sean Legacy & Dorian Van Dux, The Creed Brothers, Harley Riggins & Jaxson Presley, Shido Ash & Viktor Zanov, Hank & Tank, and Wagner & Galeno.

Tag Team Match: Kelani Jordan & Zaria vs. La Catalina & Thea Hail
Kelani Jordan last competed on Monday Night Raw in a Money in the Bank qualifying match. Now, the NXT Women’s Champion will be back in action on Tuesday night as she teams with Zaria to take on La Catalina and Thea Hail. Although La Catalina recently won the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship, I still favor Jordan and Zaria, who currently have gold in NXT.

Tag Team Match: Zilla Fatu, Sean Legacy & Dorian Van Dux vs. BirthRight
Since joining NXT, Zilla Fatu has gone 1-1 and won his last singles match earlier this month. After going back and forth with BirthRight, Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux came to Zilla Fatu’s aid last week. Now we will see them go head-to-head in a six-man tag team match. Even though BirthRight has more chemistry as a team, it would be surprising if Fatu lost another match.
