WWE is in Corpus Christi, Texas, at the Hilliard Center for their next episode of Friday Night SmackDown! Last week’s SmackDown had a shocking ending as Sami Zayn defeated CM Punk for the WWE Undisputed Championship. We are set to see the fallout from that title match along with the return of former champion Cody Rhodes.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown Full Card
Women’s MITB Qualifying Match: Alexa Bliss vs. Jacy Jayne vs. Jade Cargill
This is a star-studded match with two former world champions, Alexa Bliss and Jade Cargill. Jacy Jayne, the current Women’s United States Champion, is also in the contest. Since Jayne already has gold, I favor Jade Cargill because of her physicality and power.
Alexa Bliss vs. Jacy Jayne vs. Jade Cargill Prediction: Jade Cargill defeats Alexa Bliss and Jacy Jayne.
Men’s MITB Qualifying Match: Randy Orton vs. Trick Williams vs. Rey Fenix
The two favorites in this match are Randy Orton and Trick Williams. Although Williams is a rising star, I don’t see him in the Money in the Bank ladder match, as he is the United States Champion. Randy Orton is coming off a win over Cody Rhodes, and it makes sense for his momentum to continue tonight.
Randy Orton vs. Trick Williams vs. Rey Fenix Prediction: Randy Orton qualifies for the MITB ladder match.
Tag Team Match: MFT (c) vs. Bakusai
The MFTs are the current Tag Team Champions, but they will face the new team, Bakusai, in a non-title match on SmackDown. Since gold isn’t on the line, I think Bakusai will pick up the victory, leading to an eventual championship showdown between the two teams.
MFT vs. Bakusai Prediction: Bakusai defeats MFT.
