Louisville vs. Ole Miss player props
Kewan Lacy 2+ touchdowns (+195)
Last season, only one player in college football finished with more touchdowns than Ole Miss halfback Kewan Lacy. The superstar showed a real nose for the end zone with 24 trips across the goal line, three more than the third-place finisher, Jeremiyah Love. Now, he’s set to put one more elite season in the books before likely heading to the NFL next April.
Lacy was the heartbeat of the Rebels’ offense last year, rushing for 1,567 yards on 306 carries. He averaged just 5.1 yards per attempt, but with that kind of volume in a tough SEC, that’s certainly no knock on his profile. He showed an ability to grind it out between the tackles while still breaking loose for home-run rushes, so we’re talking about a versatile talent who could easily be a first-round pick in 2027. He scored multiple touchdowns in seven of his 15 contests, including three of his six games against ranked opponents.
Louisville’s defense was certainly good last year, but Lacy is another level of talent that basically no team can stop. Watch for him to see a massive workload in this game and punch in a pair of scores on Sunday, whether that be via long breakaway gains or a couple of goal-line touches.
Isaac Brown 80+ rushing yards (-104)
While not the same caliber of talent that Lacy is, Louisville halfback Isaac Brown is arguably in the very next tier when it comes to the position. Last year, he rushed for 884 yards… in just nine games. To make that mark even more impressive, consider for a moment the kind of workload he saw – he took just 101 carries, meaning he converted those attempts at an NCAA-best 8.8 yards per carry.
He’s not very big at just 5-foot-9, but Brown is an electric runner who brings elite agility and burst. He broke a rush of 20+ yards in seven of his nine games, and to be fair, he took just one carry in one of those, so it was really more like eight contests that he actually appeared in. He posted 100+ yards six times and even had a 205-yard performance against Boston College, all while never taking more than 16 carries in a single game. That’s elite, frankly.
Brown isn’t likely to see a workhorse role by any means, but he doesn’t need it to get to 80+ rushing yards on Sunday. He can shake loose on literally any carry. To be fair as well, Ole Miss’ defense was fairly susceptible to the run last year with 4.4 yards per rush and 154.1 rushing yards per game allowed, 73rd and 63rd in the nation. If that front seven doesn’t seem shored up from the jump, Brown will take advantage and work his magic.
