Love Island UK is approaching the end of another great season. Episode 51 sees some couples at the point of cruising to the end, while others get put to the test.

Love Island UK Episode 51 Recap 7/18/26
The episode picked up with the drama from earlier in the day between Priya and Julia. Priya was angry at Julia for trying to push Aidan to give things with Elicia a real try. Unfortunately for the new bombshells, both Aidan and Priya decided that they only have feelings for each other. Ethan and Priya had a conversation where Ethan respectfully decided to bow out, as he was getting nowhere.
Meanwhile, Aidan decided to cut things off with Elicia. This conversation did not go as well as Ethan’s and Priya’s chat. Elicia told Aidan that she thought the relationship was fake. She thought that the two of them just wanted an easy ride through the last two weeks, and several islanders agreed with her. Aidan and Priya then dramatically strutted into the Hideaway right in front of Ethan and Elicia’s faces. As they aptly put it, it was “giving desperate.”
There is clearly an anti-bombshell bias in the villa. Feelings that Elicia and Julia have about people in the villa are viewed as “shady” and interfering. Meanwhile, when the original islanders have the same thoughts and feelings, they get a much more reasonable reception. Priya in particular seems to completely discount what any of the bombshells think.
LI Fest
The islanders got a text that they would be headed off to Love Island Fest. Joel Corry was there to DJ the festival, and it was all good vibes to start. That is until Maya Jama showed up to play a game. This game involved all the islanders putting on headphones and blindfolds. Then, one couple would get a statement that they had to match to the couple that they thought it fit the best. The couple that was picked to match the statement then had the chance to guess who they thought picked them for that statement. Maya Jama then reveals whether their guess was correct.
These statements ranged from “this couple is only together for the 50K” to “this couple has no chemistry.” Some people took their statements in stride, while others took it very personally. The only couple to guess correctly was Kavan and Jasmine. They correctly guessed that Elicia and Aidan gave them the statement “this couple brings out the worst in each other.” That caused some serious brotherly drama.
Apart from Kavan and Jasmine being mad at Aidan, the only couple that was offended by their statement was Mica and Samraj. Simba and Angie gave them the statement, “This couple is only together for the 50K.” Simba confessed that it was him who picked them for the statement, and his reasoning was more that they were bougie and would like the extra cash, not that they were in a fake relationship.
Everybody seemed to resolve their issues, but then Maya Jama returned to the festival. The preview showed that in the following episode she would be revealing the results of the public vote. That public vote was for the favorite boys and girls individually. This will likely lead to at least one boy and one girl getting dumped from the villa.
