There will be only two games on today’s slate, tipping off at 11 AM EST between the Fire and the Sun. The Mystics will visit the Tempo at 7 PM.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Shakira Austin More Than 8.5 Rebounds
Austin’s line sits just below her season average of 9.1 RPG, and she has already shown that she can control this matchup on the glass. She grabbed exactly 11 rebounds in each of Washington’s first two meetings with Toronto. The Tempo allow 44.4 opponent rebounds per game, the third-most in the WNBA, while their 45.3 at home is tied for the league’s highest mark.
Austin managed only five boards against Seattle on Sunday, but she still played 33 minutes, so the quiet performance was likely an aberration. We’re banking on the favorable rebounding environment and her established success against Toronto to push her back into double figures.

Leila Lacan More Than 5.5 Assists
The Connecticut guard has begun trending upward, delivering six assists in each of her last two games. Portland allows a league-high 23.3 opponent APG, and that number rises to 24.4 when the Fire play on the road. With Saniya Rivers sidelined, Lacan should continue operating as Connecticut’s most dependable initiator and handling a steady share of the team’s creation. She still needs the Sun to convert those opportunities, but this is one of the best matchups on the schedule for her to reach six assists.

Sonia Citron More Than 18.5 Points
Citron returned from a two-game absence with 19 points in 33 minutes against Seattle, showing no obvious restriction from her recent knee soreness. She is averaging 18.7 PPG this season and 19.4 across her last 10 appearances, putting this line directly within her normal scoring range. Toronto allows 92.0 opponent PPG, the second-most in the WNBA, although the Tempo have been considerably better defensively at home. Their current injury situation makes that home split less reassuring, with Brittney Sykes, Kiki Rice, and Temi Fagbenle unavailable. Citron already scored 26 points in Toronto earlier this season, and she only needs to slightly outperform her season average to clear this number.
