Max Holloway defeated Conor McGregor by first-round TKO after McGregor suffered an injury. This fight ended at 1:09 into the first round. This was their second fight against each other and the first since August 2013.

Holloway moves to 28-9 in his career and is now 2-1 in his previous three contests. This is McGregor’s third straight loss and the second consecutive fight in which he suffered a significant injury. His record now stands at 22-7. This was McGregor’s first fight since July 2021.

Before the fight, Holloway was the favorite at -285, while McGregor was +230 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Holloway landed 12 significant strikes and 14 total strikes in this contest.

Megan Olivi reported on the UFC post-show that Conor McGregor suffered an internal right knee injury.

Conor McGregor denied previous rumors that he was injured before the fight.
