One of the biggest fights on the UFC’s schedule takes place Saturday night as Conor McGregor returns after five years away to face former UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway in a rematch.

In the co-main event, two of the best Lightweight contenders, Benoit Saint Denis and Paddy Pimblett, face off in a three-round contest.

Right away, McGregor appeared to slip but got back to his feet. A few seconds later, the referee called the fight off after McGregor struggled to move. Holloway ended up winning this contest by TKO. McGregor appeared to suffer an injury to his leg.

Megan Olivi reported on the UFC post-show that Conor McGregor suffered an internal right knee injury.


Benoit Saint Denis vs. Paddy Pimblett round-by-round updates

Result: Paddy Pimblett defeats Benoit Saint Denis by first-round submission.

Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett receives a warm welcome at the T-Mobile Arena ahead of his co-main event fight.

11:14 p.m. ET: Paddy Pimblett defeats Benoit Saint Denis by first-round submission

In the first round, Paddy Pimblett beat Benoit Saint Denis by submission. Pimblett moves to 10-1 in his previous 11 contests. BSD was previously on a four-fight winning streak before this.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Pimblett was +1000 to win by first-round submission.


Cory Sandhagen vs. Mario Bautista 2 round-by-round updates

Result: Mario Bautista defeats Cory Sandhagen by unanimous decision.

10:34 p.m. ET: Round 1

Sandhagen connected on multiple powerful punches at the start of this fight. But then the two started to clinch while being against the cage. In all of their exchanges, Sandhagen seemed a step ahead of Bautista. At the end of the round, Bautista got control on the ground.

10:40 p.m. ET: Round 2

It appears that Sandhagen hurt his left leg. Even though it seemed Sandhagen’s leg hurt, he continued moving forward. This was a very close round, but I still give the edge to Sandhagen.

10:46 p.m. ET: Round 3

Bautista knocked Sandhagen down early in the third round and then gained control on the ground. This was a phenomenal round for Bautista, who dominated the entire third.

10:50 p.m. ET: Mario Bautista defeats Cory Sandhagen by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Mario Bautista beat Cory Sandhagen by unanimous decision in the third fight at UFC 329. Bautista and Sandhagen are now 1-1 against each other. Bautista is now 10-1 over his previous 11 UFC contests.


Brandon Royval vs. Lone’er Kavanagh round-by-round updates

Result: Brandon Royval defeats Lone’er Kavanagh by third-round submission.

10:00 p.m. ET: Round 1

Royval pressured Kavanagh early in this fight and was aggressive. Kavanagh had a slow start and was too passive. Each time Kavanagh attempted offense, Royval would respond. Then Royval landed a takedown and controlled Kavanagh until the final 15 seconds of the round.

10:06 p.m. ET: Round 2

Over a minute into the second round, Kavanagh knocked Royval down and followed up with plenty of ground-and-pound. Royval got back to his feet and seemed to recover. Then, Kavanagh appeared to hurt Royval once again. Royval ended the round landing a bunch of offense of his own.

10:13 p.m. ET: Brandon Royval defeats Lone’er Kavanagh by third-round submission

In the third round, Brandon Royval submitted Lone’er Kavanagh to pick up the victory. This is Royval’s first win since October 2024, snapping his previous two-fight losing streak. Kavanagh has now lost two of his last three UFC contests.

Royval hurt Kavanagh early in the third round, but Kavanagh responded with a big shot. Then Royval gained control on the ground once again. Royval was +2800 before this contest to score a submission in the third round.


King Green vs. Terrance McKinney round-by-round updates

Result: King Green defeats Terrance McKinney by first-round KO/TKO.

9:33 p.m. ET: King Green defeats Terrance McKinney by first-round KO/TKO

After nearly being finished, King Green bounced back and scored a last-second knockout against Terrance McKinney in the first round. Green has now won four straight contests, with his last three coming by knockout or submission. McKinney is 1-2 in his previous three fights.

Before the fight, Green was +250 to score a first-round knockout on DraftKings Sportsbook. McKinney recorded 50 significant strikes and 2:12 of control time in this fight. Green finished the fight with 43 significant strikes.
