There are once again three games on the slate tonight, with the Valkyries visiting the Sun at 7:30 PM EST, the Wings visiting the Tempo at 7:30 PM, and the Sky visiting the Sparks at 10 PM.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Kamilla Cardoso More than 14.5 Points
Cardoso has grown into Chicago’s most dependable interior scorer, averaging 14.3 PPG while carrying a larger offensive role than she did earlier in her career. She has scored at least 15 points in three of her last five games, including an 18-point performance against Los Angeles on June 30. The Sparks are allowing a league-high 93.6 PPG, and their defense has struggled to keep opponents away from efficient looks around the basket. That is an inviting matchup for the 6-foot-7 Cardoso, whose size, finishing, and offensive rebounding give Chicago several ways to feed her without asking her to create difficult shots. She has already shown a much higher ceiling this season, including a WNBA-record 13-for-13 shooting performance during her 30-point game against Portland. Cardoso needs a normal scoring night to clear this number against the league’s most permissive scoring defense.

Nneka Ogwumike More than 17.5 Points
Ogwumike should continue carrying an elevated scoring burden while Kelsey Plum remains sidelined with a lower-leg injury. Plum’s absence removes the Sparks’ leading scorer and has shifted more touches toward Ogwumike, Dearica Hamby, and the rest of the frontcourt. Ogwumike has averaged 20.0 PPG over her last five appearances, including 24 points in Los Angeles’ 106-point showing against Indiana on Wednesday. Chicago has allowed 88.8 PPG, the fifth-highest average in the WNBA, and its defensive problems should give Ogwumike opportunities both in the post and from the midrange. The Sparks have not always replaced Plum’s perimeter creation too well, but Ogwumike remains one of their safest options when possessions slow down.

Jessica Shepard More than 12.5 Rebounds
Shepard enters this rematch in truly outstanding form after collecting 12 rebounds against New York and 15 against Toronto in her last two games. She has recorded 27 total rebounds across those outings while playing at least 36 minutes in each, and her monstrous 22-12-11 performance against the Liberty gave her a third triple-double this season. Toronto has allowed 10.1 offensive rebounds per game, tied for the second-highest average in the league, and Shepard grabbed six offensive boards in Sunday’s first meeting. Dallas has made her a central part of its offense, but that playmaking responsibility has not pulled her away from the basket nor reduced her work on the glass. The 12.5 line is aggressive, especially because landing on exactly 12 would still lose, but Shepard has the minutes, recent production, and matchup evidence to justify it. After she controlled the boards in the first meeting, we’re banking on Toronto having no immediate answer in the rematch.
