It’s rematch time for Wednesday’s WNBA slate. The Lynx came into that matchup with the best record in the league, while the Sun had the worst. And yet, it was Connecticut pulling off the upset win. Will Minnesota find a way to take its revenge?
Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. The Lynx are 7.5-point road favorites with -325 moneyline odds on DraftKings Sportsbook. A Sun upset is priced at +260 with the game total set at O/U 167.5 points.

Lynx vs. Sun Preview
It’s nothing short of amazing that the Lynx head into the halfway mark of the season tied for the top record in the league. Without Napheesa Collier (who is close to her season debut), the Lynx have chugged along. Natasha Howard is having her best season since her Seattle heyday, Kayla McBride continues to thrive on both ends of the floor, and Courtney Williams is absolutely cooking. But it’s all made possible by their elite rookie point guard, Olivia Miles.
Unfortunately, they learned how hard life is without Miles on Tuesday. That matchup with the Sun was the first game Miles has missed all year, and it resulted in the biggest possible upset of this WNBA season. Miles’ absence was reportedly cautionary after she cramped up in the previous game, so the hope is she will be back for Wednesday’s matchup.
The season is surely over for Connecticut in terms of making the playoffs. But they are building some momentum. That upset over the Lynx gave the Sun three wins in their last four games, a huge step after their 2-15 start. Leïla Lacan is back and building off a strong rookie year, they’re getting good hoops out of Brittney Griner, and Aneesah Morrow is getting every rebound in sight. While this rebuild is far from over, there’s reason to believe Connecticut can finish the season on a high note and head for Houston with their heads held high.
Lynx vs. Sun Pick, Best Bet
Even if Miles wasn’t suiting up for this contest, I’d feel confident in Minnesota getting their lick back. Courtney Williams, Natasha Howard, and Kayla McBride are more than enough to beat the worst team in the league alongside their strong supporting cast. But all indications are that Miles will be back running the show offensively, and if so, they’re going to clean up here. No disrespect to the Sun, but beating the league’s best team is a tall task for anybody. It’s nearly impossible for them.
