Best Bet for South Korea vs. Czechia

  • Czechia Tie No Bet: Czechia comes into this game in scorching hot form, unbeaten since October of 2025. They took out Ireland and Denmark in the UEFA play-off, and will enter this game with a ton of confidence.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup has finally arrived, and the second match of the tournament will feature South Korea taking on Czechia in Group A.

Let’s dive into my favorite bet for this match.

South Korea vs. Czechia Prediction, Pick

For this bet to hit, we need Czechia to win. If the game ends in a draw, the bet will void. These two teams feel like they will be in a battle for second place in Group A right from the start, making this game that much more important to both teams. Mexico are undoubtedly the favorites, especially since they will play their games at home. South Korea and Czechia are in the next tier together, followed by South Africa.

Both teams enter this group in good form. South Korea, headlined by star forward Son Heung-min, were the only team in Asia to qualify for the World Cup without suffering a defeat. Czechia needed to get into the tournament through a play-off, but they beat a very good Denmark squad in the play-off final to qualify for the tournament.

I like Czechia slightly more in this one because of the difficulty of opposition they are used to facing. There is no doubt that qualifying for the World Cup from Europe is the toughest out of any region in the world, so they are battle tested. They finished second in their qualifying group behind Croatia, who are one of the most underrated teams in the world, and always find their way into the deep waters of international competitions. Beating Ireland and Denmark in the play-off is no easy task, and here they are. Bayer Leverkusen forward Patrik Schick is the star man for them, and he could easily have a big impact in this game.

I’m expecting a close game here, which is why I went with tie no bet instead of the moneyline, but I’ll give Czechia the slight advantage in this one to get a positive result.

Best Bet: Czechia Tie No Bet (-105)
