DraftKings NBA Pick6 Fantasy Basketball Picks Today: Top Picks for 5/28/26

The Spurs are on the ropes tonight at 8:30 PM EST as they visit the Thunder for Game 6. OKC is up 3-2 and will have a chance to put away the young Spurs to advance to the NBA Finals to take on the New York Knicks.

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!

This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander More Than 8.5 Assists

SGA has been racking up the assists in this series. This series has pushed him into creating more than he typically did during the regular season, because San Antonio’s defense has been crowding the lane and making every downhill drive end in a meeting with Victor Wembanyama. The Spurs led the league at 7.6 blocks per game in the regular season, so OKC’s cleanest offense often comes from SGA drawing defensive attention and firing the first pass before the help can set. The Spurs have tried to force the ball out of his hands, and in Game 3 we saw the counter to the counter: SGA didn’t score in the first quarter, but he still controlled the game through passing and finished with 12 assists. Even in Game 5, when his scoring finally popped with 32 points, he still ended up with nine assists.

The other piece that matters for this line is OKC’s injury report. They’ve been thin on secondary creation all series with Jalen Williams and Ajay Mitchell out, which keeps even more possessions flowing through SGA.

Victor Wembanyama More Than 22.5 Points

We’re betting on volume here. San Antonio’s offense still runs through Wemby, and he’s already shown he can clear this number against OKC even with a physical game plan, going for 41 in Game 1 and 33 in Game 4. The key is that his scoring isn’t dependent on jumpers only. In Game 5 he shot 4/15 and still finished with 20 because he got to the line and went a perfect 12/12, so even a small efficiency bump gets him over 22.5. He’s also averaging 22.9 PPG this postseason.

The main concern here is Wemby’s gas tank. He’s been visibly tired every other game in this series and we’re beginning to see the negative effects of managing his workload during the regular season. He’s not accustomed to playing long, intense 40 minute games and his conditioning could also hold him back from reaching this number. In an elimination game tonight, however, I’m expecting 100% from him.

Victor Wembanyama More Than 10.5 Rebounds

Wemby is averaging 11.1 RPG this postseason, and he’s at 11.8 RPG across this OKC series, so 11 boards is basically his typically output. He’s already shown the ceiling in this matchup with a massive 24-rebound Game 1, and even the slow rebounding nights don’t change the math much because his size lets him suck in defensive and offensive boards. The one obvious concern is Game 5, when he only had six rebounds, but that looks more like an outlier than a new trend, especially with OKC playing fast and a chunk of possessions ending in turnovers or quick scores instead of solid rebounding chances. Wemby will need to dominate the glass tonight to create possessions for his team to stave off elimination.
