Augusta National Golf Club (par 72, 7,565 yards, bentgrass greens) is home of the Masters and has been since the event’s inception in 1934. This major is hosting 91 players and there will be a top-50 and ties cut after the first two rounds.

Cameron Smith to make the cut
Smith missed the cut at last year’s Masters, but this is the only time he has missed the weekend in nine starts at Augusta National. Not only has Smith made 8 of 9 cuts at the par 72, but he has also contended often, with five top-10 finishes. Smith finished runner-up in 2021 and T3rd in 2023. The Aussie ranks 14th among this field in strokes gained per round at Augusta National. Smith hasn’t contended on the LIV tour yet this season, but he has finished T17th or better in four of his five starts and right before the start of the season, Smith finished runner-up at the Crown Australian Open in December.
Keegan Bradley to make the cut
Bradley has been dependable at Augusta National, making 7 of 9 cuts with four top-30 finishes. The veteran returns this week as the maker of back-to-back cuts and 15 of his last 20. Plus, Bradley has advanced to the weekend in eight of his last 12 starts at a major.
Nick Taylor to make the cut
Taylor has made 2 of 3 cuts at Augusta National and he has been a reliable cut maker over the last year, making 17 of his past 20 cuts. Taylor is coming off a T29 finish at the Valero Texas Open and he closed the event with back-to-back 3-under 69s at TPC San Antonio. This marked the seventh straight start Taylor has gained strokes on approach and he ranks 34th in SG APP this season. Taylor also ranks eighth in SG ARG. With the greens so fast and complex at Augusta National, being an efficient short game player is vital at this track. For five years in a row, the Masters winner has finished in the major’s top 10 in SG ARG.
Michael Kim to make the cut
Kim nearly picked up his second PGA TOUR win at the Valero Texas Open last week, finishing runner-up by one stroke to J.J. Spaun. Kim started the week with an even par 72, but then he shot 65, 66 and 69 in his final three rounds at TPC San Antonio. He also gained strokes across the board for the first time this season. The 32-year-old has made 11 of his last 14 cuts worldwide and Kim finished T27th in his second attempt at Augusta National a year ago. Now, Kim returns to the Masters eight spots higher in the world golf rankings.
