Spring has sprung, and so will new sneaker releases. Will April shower sneakerheads with fresh kicks?
Here’s your playbook for the top sneakers dropping this month.
Top Sneaker Drop of April 2026: Virgil Abloh Archive Air Jordan 1 OG “Alaska”

The late Virgil Abloh is legendary thanks to his work on the iconic “The Ten” campaign from 2017. The quintessential collaboration between an artist and a sneaker company, Abloh’s “The Ten” campaign is a landmark event for sneaker culture and the definitive artifact of the sneaker era from the late 2010s into the pandemic.
One of the sneakers featured was the Air Jordan 1, which Abloh originally did in a “Chicago” colorway. “UNC” and “Alaska” colorways followed, with the “Alaska” colorway the most exclusive of those colorways. Now, it is releasing for the first time in North America through various raffles (see above) with a SNKRS release rumored to follow.
The Virgil Abloh Archive 2026 edition mostly has all of the original Off-White elements in tact — plastic tag, exposed foam at the collar, orange tag at the end of an enlarged Nike Swoosh, “AIR” branding on the midsole— one major difference is in the “V.A.A. for Nike” branding on the medial side replacing “Off-White for Nike.” This is not a surprise, as reports have suggested that the Abloh estate has not collaborated with Off-White since 2022.
The last OG pair on StockX sold for a price of $3,903, so the $230 on various raffles doesn’t seem so bad. If you can’t hit on the various raffles, the 2026 V.A.A. release currently has an average price of $653 on 35 sales on StockX.
