In one of the most exciting series on opening weekend, two reigning American League division champions have gone head-to-head as the Cleveland Guardians visit the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park. The Guardians have taken two of the first three games in this series, claiming a 6-5 win in extra innings on Saturday night. The Mariners are favored at -149 on Sunday Night Baseball with the over/under at 7.5 runs. Another way to get a piece of the action in this 7:20 p.m. ET matchup is by finding a few player prop bets that are strong plays in the contest.

Guardians at Mariners Prop Bets for 3/29/26
Slade Cecconi o4.5 Strikeouts (-104)
Cecconi had a great spring training, allowing only three runs in 16 2/3 innings with 16 strikeouts. He went exactly four innings in each of his last three starts this spring, allowing just one run on eight hits with 11 strikeouts. He only had two punchouts in his last outing against the Dbacks, but he racked up six strikeouts against the Brewers in his previous start.
Last year, Cecconi made 23 starts for the Guardians, with a 7.4 K/9 and 109 strikeouts in 132 innings. He has a good strikeout matchup against the Mariners, who have an MLB-leading 36 strikeouts in their first three games coming into the day. The Mariners ranked fifth in total strikeouts and seventh in K% last year, so even when their lineup is clicking, there is still plenty of swing-and-miss potential in the batting order.
Chase DeLauter 2+ Hits + Runs + RBI (-112)
DeLauter has been the biggest story of the series, getting off to a great start after a strong spring training. The lefty made his MLB debut in the playoffs last year, but in his first three regular-season games, the 24-year-old lefty has gone 5-for-14 (.357) with five runs scored, five RBIs and four home runs for a total of 15 HRR (hits, runs and RBI).
Averaging 5.0 HRR per game, getting him to pick up multiple HRR at almost even-money odds is a great value. He should continue to hit in the second spot in the order and get plenty of run production opportunities, especially against righties. DeLauter has posted strong numbers when healthy, but injuries have slowed his rise to the majors. He looks outstanding early in the season, and he should continue to contribute at a high level as long as he avoids any injury issues.
Brendan Donovan 2+ Total Bases (+118)
The Mariners’ lineup has scuffled badly in the first three games this season with very little production from the middle of their lineup. Donovan has gotten off to a solid start, though, with a double and a homer in his Mariners’ debut on Thursday for six total bases. He went 0-for-4 on Friday before going 2-for-5 with a stolen base on Saturday.
Donovan dropped to sixth in the lineup against the lefty Joey Cantillo on Saturday night, but he’ll probably return to the top of the order in the leadoff spot against the righty Cecconi. He homered against Cecconi in their earlier meeting, going 1-for-2 in that tiny sample size, and he has a good chance to deliver multiple total bases on Sunday night as he continues to try to jumpstart Seattle’s offense.
