On the UFC 326 Prelims, Ricky Turcios welcomes Alberto Montes to the UFC as the two will compete in a three-round Bantamweight bout. This is Montes’ first bout since earning a UFC contract on Dana White’s Contender Series in October 2024. Turcios has suffered consecutive losses and last fought on the UFC 311 card in January 2025.

Alberto Montes to Win by Submission or Decision (-145)

Turcios hasn’t been the most active fighter in the UFC in recent years, to say the least. He fought twice in 2022, didn’t compete in 2023, and had one fight each in 2024 and 2025. So this bout features Turcios coming off a 14-month layoff and Montes returning 17 months away from the sport. Montes’ lone career MMA loss came against Ira Lukowsky in December 2021, but he has won three bouts since, all by submission.

The UFC newcomer is a -185 favorite in this contest, with Turcios being +154 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The total is set at 2.5 rounds with the over being -160. This bout is -125 to go the distance and -105 to end before the time expires.

Turcios has been in the UFC since 2021 but has a 2-3 record since joining the top MMA promotion. Activity has also been an issue for him, as Turcios fought only once in 2024 and 2025. Turcios’s last victory came against Kevin Natividad in November 2022. In this bout, Turcios is taller (5’9″ vs. 5’7″) and has the longer reach (71″ vs. 69″).

Even though this is Montes’s first bout since October 2024, he has been impressive in his latest fights. You can get Montes to win by decision or submission at -145 on DraftKings Sportsbook. His seven previous wins have come by decision or submission.
