The UCF Knights host the Oklahoma State Cowboys tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET in their final home game of the regular season. The Cowboys have won three of their previous four games but are coming off a one-point loss to Baylor on Saturday. This season, UCF is 9-7 in Big 12 play and currently sixth in the conference. Meanwhile, Oklahoma State has lost six of its last seven and is 14th in the conference.

Oklahoma State vs. UCF (7:00 p.m. ET)

On KenPom, these two teams are far apart: UCF is No. 48, and Oklahoma State is No. 74. UCF has the 27th-best offensive rating and the 110th-best defensive rating, while the Cowboys’ defensive rating is 118th, and their offensive rating is 57th. 

Oklahoma State averages over 83 points per game this season, but has lacked consistency. They have scored 69 or fewer points in three of their last four contests. The Cowboys have three players scoring at least 10 per game, led by veteran guard Anthony Roy. Although Roy is averaging 16.3 points, he has scored four, 10, and six points in his last three games. When Roy struggles to get going, it correlates to Oklahoma State’s overall lack of success. Parsa Fallah, a senior forward, has scored at least 18 points in three of his last four games.

Riley Kugel recently returned from injury and provided a major offensive spark for the Knights, scoring 26 points against Baylor. Themus Fulks (14.1 PPG), Jordan Burks (13.4 PPG), and Jamichael Stillwell (11.8 PPG) round out UCF’s double-digit scorers.

Before losing to Baylor, UCF won three consecutive games by at least 11 points. Also, Oklahoma State’s last three losses have all been by 11 or more points. This season in Big 12 competition, nine of the Cowboys’ 11 losses have been by at least 10 points. Although Oklahoma State’s offense possesses upside, UCF has a deeper starting lineup. Also, even though they are coming off a one-point loss, UCF enters this contest with more momentum.
