Here is my best bet for today’s Welterweight title fight between Ramazan Kuramagomedov vs. Shamil Musaev.
Under 2.5 Rounds (-145)
Kuramagomedov competed in Bellator from 2023 to 2024, going 3-0 in the promotion. But since PFL acquired Bellator, Kuramagomedov has yet to make an appearance for the company. After a 20-month layoff, Kuramagomedov finally returns to action against another dominant fighter, Musaev. Musaev also hasn’t fought in quite some time; his last contest was in November 2024, when he beat Magomed Umalatov for the Tournament Championship.
Kuramagomedov has the physical advantage in this contest, as he is taller (6’1″ vs. 5’10”) and has a larger standing reach (73″ vs. 72″). In PFL’s new rankings, Musaev is No. 1 while Kuramagomedov is No. 2 at 170 pounds. Musaev is also ranked fifth on PFL’s pound-for-pound top-10 rankings.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Musaev is a -395 favorite with Kuramagomedov being a +280 underdog in this fight. Since 14 of Musaev’s 20 victories have come by finish, and Kuramagomedov has won 13 of his 13 fights by knockout or submission, this fight is unlikely to go the distance. Three of Musaev’s four PFL wins have come by knockout, as he is an excellent striker.
