The co-main event of tonight’s Matchroom boxing event features a Light Heavyweight contest between Khalil Coe and former title challenger Jesse Hart. Hart, 36, is 31-3 with 25 knockouts and is on a five-fight winning streak, but hasn’t fought since April 2024. Coe, 29, has a record of 10-1-1 with eight victories by knockout. In Coe’s last bout, he knocked out Manuel Gallegos in the sixth round to win the WBC USA Light Heavyweight title.
Here is my best bet for tonight’s fight between Khalil Coe and Jesse Hart.
Khalil Coe by KO/TKO/DQ (+110)
Coe is 6-1 in his previous seven fights since 2023, with each win coming by knockout. Currently, Coe is ranked No. 21 on BoxRec in the Light Heavyweight division. Coe has fought experienced fighters before, but Hart might be his toughest test yet. Hart stands 6’3″, five inches taller than Coe. Even though Hart hasn’t been active lately, he still possesses legit knockout power.
The New Jersey native, Coe, is a big -900 favorite with Hart being a +550 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook. Since Coe is the smaller fighter, he will need to dictate the pace of this contest from the beginning. If Coe doesn’t allow Hart to land big punches early, he should be able to take advantage of the longer the fight lasts. Since Coe is such a massive favorite, it is best to back him to win by KO/TKO/DQ at +110.
