NFL Wild Card Weekend kicks off with the Rams vs. Panthers on Saturday, Jan. 10.
Los Angeles is a 10.5-point favorite and -575 on the moneyline, while Carolina is +425 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game total is set at 45.5 points.
Here are my top Matthew Stafford prop bets for the Rams vs. Panthers Wild Card Weekend matchup on Saturday.
Best Matthew Stafford Prop Bets
Matthew Stafford dominated this season, leading the NFL with 4,707 passing yards and 46 passing touchdowns. It certainly helps when Puka Nacua and Davante Adams are your top two receivers, but Stafford is impressive no matter who he’s throwing to.
He’s a major reason why the Rams’ offense is No. 1 in points and No. 1 in yards. The run game impressive, too, with Kyren Williams and Blake Corum sharing the backfield. This will likely play a role in Stafford’s output. The veteran quarterback is primary source of offense, but Los Angeles won’t be afraid to run the ball if the team gets out to an early lead.
The 10.5-point spread indicates a potential blowout, meaning the Rams may not need to throw the ball so often. They will likely use the pass game a lot early, but once that lead is solid, Williams and Corum make take over the offense.
With this in mind, I’m taking Stafford’s under 33.5 pass attempts at -106 odds. The under has hit in nine of 17 games this season, including the first time these teams played each other.
