The Memphis Grizzlies host the San Antonio Spurs at 8 p.m. EST, and while a couple of stars’ statuses are in question, savvy bettors can take advantage of the situation to find some value.

Victor Wembanyama 11+ rebounds (+103)
This prop bet hinges on one key factor, and that’s Victor Wembanyama’s status. While he’s questionable on the injury report with a bone bruise in his knee and is considered a game-time decision, the French star’s rebounds market is more than worth the risk if he plays. As I wrote earlier today in the below-linked piece outlining the top props for today’s slate, there’s a lot to like here. Wembanyama has pulled down 11 boards in 14/21 games thus far and averages 11.7 rebounds per game to begin with, so we’re looking at a very reliable hit rate assuming he plays a full suite of minutes. That’s not necessarily a given if he plays through the injury, but Memphis ranks 18th in opponent rebounds allowed and continues to operate without starting center Zach Edey. Memphis’ big men, Jock Landale and Jaren Jackson Jr, don’t stand much of a chance on the glass against the 7-foot-4 Wembanyama if he suits up tonight.
Cam Spencer 3+ 3PM (-136)
Second-year standout Cam Spencer has emerged as a legitimate rotation player at the NBA level this season. A quiet rookie campaign saw him produce just 4.2 points and 1.4 assists per night while shooting 36.5% from three in just over 10 minutes a game. Now, he’s averaging 23.2 minutes with 11.8 points and 4.9 assists while shooting an astounding 47.1% from three-point range. He comes off a bit of a slump with one or fewer threes in his last four games, but prior to that, Spencer recorded at least three makes from beyond the arc in eight of 10 appearances. With Ja Morant downgraded to doubtful with a calf contusion, there’s a high probability that other guards absorb some of his workload. Spencer averages 27.6 minutes when Morant doesn’t play this season over a 16-game sample with 5.6 three-point attempts per game, so expect him to see more work than usual. Plus, he hit three shots from distance in both meetings against the Spurs earlier this year.
