Sunday presents an eight-game slate, and below are three of my favorite NBA player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Sunday’s slate.
Top NBA player prop bets
Cade Cunningham O 27.5 Points (-120)
Cunningham should have a huge performance Sunday vs. the Cavaliers with the Pistons very shorthanded. Jalen Duren (knee), Tobias Harris (ankle) and Caris LeVert (knee) will all be out. Cunningham scored 29 points vs. the Heat in his lone start without Duren this season and with Duren, Harris and LeVert off the floor this season, Cunningham’s usage rate rises 3.4 percentage points to 34.7% and he is averaging 30.8 points per 36 minutes.
Cleveland ranks seventh in pace this season and Cunningham is a great bet to clear 27.5 points in this up-tempo spot.
Jalen Williams U 17.5 Points (-122)
Williams is going against a Suns team that ranks top-10 in defensive rating and bottom-10 in pace this season, and the Thunder will have their big three of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren and Williams all active. These three have played 14 games together this season and Williams is only averaging 15.8 PPG in these contests.
The forward has stayed under 17.5 points in 11 of these 14 games, including a quiet 11-point showing vs. the same Phoenix team Williams is facing Sunday.
Kevin Porter Jr. U 22.5 Points + Rebounds (-118)
Porter Jr. is in a plus matchup vs. the Kings, who rank 28th in defensive rating this season, but this combo line is simply too high with Giannis Antetokounmpo healthy again. In the eight games Porter Jr. and Antetokounmpo have played together this season, Porter Jr. is averaging 16.4 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.
Playing alongside Antetokounmpo, Porter Jr. finished with just 10 points and four rebounds vs. the Hornets this past Friday and when sharing the floor with Antetokounmpo this season, Porter Jr.’s usage rate decreases 7.2 percentage points and his rebound rate plummets a huge 10.3 percentage points.
