With 4:19 left in the fourth quarter of Friday’s game against the Phoenix Suns, Maxime Raynaud was replaced by Precious Achiuwa. Five seconds earlier, Raynaud went to set a pick and suffered an injury to his left knee. He was able to walk off the court but needed some assistance from the trainer.

Prior to exiting, Raynaud contributed six points, five rebounds and two assists in 25 minutes of action.

The Kings next play on Sunday at home against the Milwaukee Bucks then host the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday.

If Raynaud is out for an extended period of time, Drew Eubanks would likely see an increase in playing time.

Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
