Monday’s MLB slate is a busy one with 12 games taking place around the league. That means there are ample opportunities for bettors to place player prop bets. We’ll go over some of our favorites for today with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Alec Bohm, over 1.5 total bases (+100)
Alec Bohm has been the hottest hitter in the entire league over the past week and he’ll have a chance to do even more damage when the Phillies open a three-game set at the Angels tonight. The third-baseman has been absolutely shredding it at the plate over their last six games, posting a .577 batting average and a 1.555 OPS with 15 hits and eight RBI during that stretch. I’ll hammer the over on his base total for this evening as I can easily see him slapping either two singles or a double in this one.
Nolan Arenado, under 0.5 hits (+195)
The Cardinals will begin a three-game road set against the Tigers tonight and it’s not necessarily a good matchup for Nolan Arenado. The veteran is coming off an 0-5 performance last night and is going up against someone who has had his number in Detroit starter Kenta Maeda. Arenado is just 4-30 through 34 career plate appearances against Maeda, so I’ll take the under on his hit total for this evening.
Max Fried, 7+ alt. strikeouts thrown (+145)
The Mariners have been abysmal at the plate over the last week and things won’t get any easier when kickstarting a three-game series against the Braves tonight. Seattle has been the worst hitting team in baseball over the past seven days with a .179 collective team batting average and a league-high 67 strikeouts during that stretch. I think Max Fried can take advantage of that when stepping on the bump tonight, so I’ll peg him for at least seven punchouts.
