Did you win your fantasy football championship yesterday? Are you still sweating tonight’s results? Either way, the fantasy season is far from over thanks to NFL DFS on DraftKings.
Specific to this evening’s tilt in Atlanta between the Rams and the Falcons, there’s a $300,000 top prize on the line. Sounds pretty good, right? Sounds like something you’d be interested in partaking in.
Well, with that in mind, let’s break down the final Monday Night Football contest of the regular season and pick out a couple players that need to be in your Showdown lineups.

WR Puka Nacua, Rams | $18,300 CPT, $12,200 FLEX
There’s just no one in the NFL quite like Puka, and the wideout’s already lofty ceiling is even higher with Davante Adams ($9,200; hamstring) once again listed as doubtful to suit up for a primetime game. With Adams unavailable in Week 16 against the Seahawks, Nacua set a new season-high with 16 targets, which translated into more season-highs in receiving yards (225) and FPTS (49.5). Yes, that eventual Los Angeles loss did drag into overtime, giving Nacua extra opportunity to stuff the stat sheet, but it’s not like the former fifth-round pick isn’t in a league of his own when it comes to efficiency. No player who ran at least 25 routes last week was targeted on a higher percentage of those routes than Nacua (35.6%). In fact, no other qualified pass-catcher has been targeted on a higher clip of their routes this season than Nacua (35.4%), with Jaxon Smith-Njigba the only other man even posting a rate above 30%.
The Falcons have actually been respectable at defending the pass in 2025, sitting 13th in EPA per opponent passing attempt (-0.02). That said, much of that success was predicated on a strong start back in September and early October. Since Week 8, Atlanta has surrendered a 90-yard receiving performance six different times, with Jaylen Waddle, DeMario Douglas, Tet McMillan, Adonai Mitchell, Mike Evans and the aforementioned Smith-Njigba all accomplishing the feat. It’s difficult not to have high expectations for Nacua in this matchup, as he’s registered at least 160 yards and 30 FPTS in each of his past three starts.
TE Kyle Pitts, Falcons | $13,200 CPT, $8,800 FLEX
Even with Drake London ($9,800; knee) expected to play on MNF, Kyle Pitts remains the Falcons’ No. 1 weapon in the passing attack. Though London was targeted on a notable 26.7% of his 30 routes last week against the Cardinals, the wideout was held to just three catches for 27 yards. London also only logged a 68.8% snap rate — easily a season-low — and I don’t anticipate a much larger role in Week 17, especially with the former eighth-overall pick still banged up enough to be carrying a questionable tag into tonight’s festivities.
On the other hand, Pitts has been spectacular as of late. Some might say he’s finally living up to his fourth-overall price tag, just in time to hit the market as an unrestricted free agent, too. For the season as a whole, Pitts is TE2 in PPR fantasy formats. From Week 13 to Week 16, Pitts is TE1, besting Trey McBride and the rest of the position group in receptions (31), receiving yards (395) and receiving touchdowns (4). It’s a span where Pitts is averaging a robust 10.7 yards per target, despite being targeted nearly 10 times per game. Not too shabby. Look for Pitts to once again live up to his salary in Week 17, particularly if the Falcons are forced to play from behind for a majority of the script.
WR Konata Mumpfield, Rams | $3,300 CPT, $2,200 FLEX
There’s actually a ton of different ways to save salary with the Rams. Blake Corum ($4,600) has seen his role grow in recent weeks, while all three of the team’s tight ends — Colby Parkinson ($4,400), Terrance Ferguson ($3,400) and Davis Allen ($2,400) — are viable given their price tags and with how often Los Angeles utilized 13 personnel in Week 16 with the aforementioned Adams injured. Still, Konata Mumpfield is the cheapest of all of the Rams’ “value” prospects.
Mumpfield pretty clearly operated as Los Angeles’ WR2 against the Seahawks, and while that only meant a 45.7% snap share, Mumpfield finished the 38-37 loss with eight targets and 40 receiving yards. This wasn’t empty volume, either. Mumpfield averaged 14.4 air yards per target and one of his eight opportunities was in the red zone.
Are the Rams going to run 92 offensive plays on Monday? No. Is Matthew Stafford ($10,800) going to drop back to pass 51 times? Unlikely. However, Mumpfield will be involved in the aerial attack and his microscopic salary makes it possible to use Puka Nacua in the Captain’s slot. Sometimes, that’s all it takes to be a desired asset on a Showdown slate.
