For the third consecutive year, AEW’s schedule ends with their Worlds End PPV. This year’s Worlds End event will take place at the Now Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, on December 27 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
The Main Event of this card is a 4-Way AEW World Championship match, with title holder Samoa Joe defending against former champions Swerve Strickland, “Hangman” Adam Page, and MJF. There are four title matches on this card, along with the semifinals and the championship final of the Continental Classic.

AEW Worlds End Predictions and Full Card
AEW World Championship Four-way Match: Samoa Joe (c) vs. Swerve Strickland vs. “Hangman” Adam Page vs. MJF
Initially, this was slated to be a triple threat match between Samoa Joe, Swerve Strickland, and “Hangman” Adam Page, but MJF returned last week and inserted himself into the match. MJF won the last Casino Gauntlet at AEW All In Texas but never cashed in his title opportunity until now.
It is rare to have a match featuring four wrestlers who have all held the AEW World Championship. Not only is this one of the most stacked main event matches, but all four members also have a storied past with one another. In November, Joe beat Page to become a two-time champion, and it was quite a shocking moment. Even though all three challengers have done a tremendous job of rebuilding themselves, it seems too early to end Joe’s second reign. Having Joe upset Page at Full Gear only to lose the title a month later wouldn’t make a ton of sense.

AEW Women’s World Championship Match: Kris Statlander (c) vs. Jamie Hayter
Since winning the AEW Women’s World title at All Out, Kris Statlander has successfully defended it three times. Now, Statlander has another former champion in her path: Jamie Hayter, who held the Women’s World title from November 2022 to May 2023. Statlander and Hayter have a long history, having competed against and with each other over the last four-plus years. Over the years, Statlander and Hayter have only faced each other once in singles action, with Hayter winning that match in April. If Statlander wins this match, her title reign will surpass 100 days.

AEW Tag Team Championship Chicago Street Fight: FTR (c) vs. Bang Bang Gang
FTR is currently in their third title reign and proved once again that they are one of, if not the greatest, tag teams in professional wrestling. On December 17, FTR beat the Bang Bang Gang and now have a 2-1 record against them, with all three previous matchups in 2025. The Bang Bang Gangs beat FTR on November 8, before they became champions again. Even though the Bang Bang Gang is talented, FTR is still the best big match tag team in AEW.
FTR vs. Bang Bang Gang Prediction: FTR retains their championship against the Bang Bang Gang.
AEW Continental Championship Match: Kazuchika Okada (c) or Konosuke Takeshita vs. Kyle Fletcher or Jon Moxley
My first prediction is that this match will be Konosuke Takeshita vs. Kyle Fletcher. Takeshita, 30, and Fletcher, 26, are two of the best wrestlers in the world, 30 or younger. Both guys have AEW world title potential, and winning the Continental Championship would be a significant next step for each.
Although he has a long career ahead of him, this is the time for Fletcher to pick up a massive victory, becoming one of the biggest stars in the company. If Fletcher pins the current IWPG Champion, it would be a massive moment not only for his career but for AEW as a whole.
AEW Continental Championship Match Prediction: Kyle Fletcher defeats Konosuke Takeshita to win the AEW Continental Championship.
AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Babes of Wrath (c) vs. Mercedes Mone & Athena
At Winter is Coming on December 10, the Babes of Wrath defeated the Timeless Love Bombs to become the first AEW Women’s Tag Team champions. Harley Cameron and Willow Nighingale have formed an excellent team and are 5-0 in traditional two-on-two tag-team matches. Now, the Babes of Wrath have a tough test in front of them with Mercedes Mone and Athena. Although Mone and Athena are decorated champions, the Babes of Wrath already beat them once before. Mone and Athena are both tremendous singles wrestlers, but don’t have the cohesion that the Babes of Wrath possess currently.

Singles Match: Darby Allin vs. Gabe Kidd
Although Gabe Kidd is a member of NJPW, he has made many appearances on AEW over the last two years. Although Kidd isn’t an official member of the Death Riders, he has aligned himself with the group throughout 2025. Kidd has competed in eight AEW events, with his last contest being the Lights Out Steel Cage match at Forbidden Door in August. He is also 2-1 in singles competition in AEW, with his previous victory in the promotion coming against Katsuyori Shibata in July.
Kidd returned on Dynamite and immediately went after Darby Allin. Allin has had a long history with the Death Riders, and he now has a matchup with Kidd at Worlds End. Recently, Allin has failed to get into the win column, suffering two consecutive defeats in one-on-one matches. Even though Kidd presents a tough matchup, Allin needs this victory more than ever. Allin hasn’t lost three straight singles matches since 2020.
Darby Allin vs. Gabe Kidd Prediction: Darby Allin defeats Gabe Kidd.
Continental Classic Semifinal Match: Kyle Fletcher vs. Jon Moxley
In the Continental Classic, former AEW Champion Jon Moxley has gone 3-2 in the tournament and finished with nine points, tied with Kyle Fletcher and Okada for the second most points. Fletcher has been one of AEW’s best rising stars in 2025 and is coming off a victory over Jack Perry.
Moxley is 1-3 in his previous four singles matches on an AEW PPV. He has lost on consecutive AEW PPVs, with his last one coming against Kyle O’Reilly at Full Gear in November. Moxley is a former four-time AEW Champion and the most accomplished wrestler in the promotion’s history, but it is time for Fletcher to take the next step of superstardom.
Kyle Fletcher vs. Jon Moxley Prediction: Kyle Fletcher defeats Jon Moxley to advance to the championship final.
Continental Classic Semifinal Match: Kazuchika Okada vs. Konosuke Takeshita
For the first time in history, Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita will face off in a singles match. Over the last two years, the two have teamed together and faced each other in three and four-way matches, but never in a one-on-one setting. Two of the greatest wrestlers to come from NJPW finally meet. During 2025, both wrestlers have been a part of the Don Callis Family but have butted heads throughout.
Right now, Okada is the AEW Unified Champion, Continental Champion, and International Champion. Meanwhile, Takeshita is the current IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. Although Okada has a ton of gold, this has been a breakout year for Takeshita, and he could benefit a ton from pinning the legendary Okada. Okada is known as the greatest tournament wrestler, but Takeshita has a chance to win two of the most important wrestling tournaments in one year, as he already won the G1 Climax.

Mixed Nuts Mayhem Match: Death Riders vs. “Timeless” Toni Storm & The Conglomeration
A match that was recently added to this card is a Mixed Nuts Mayhem match between the Death Riders against The Cinglomeration and Toni Storm. The Conglomeration has won its last two matches against the Death Riders, with the previous one coming at Blood and Guts. If the Death Riders want to get back to their dominant ways, a win here is necessary.
