Sacramento Kings wing Keegan Murray won’t return to Tuesday’s game against the Detroit Pistons after suffering a calf injury. The 25-year-old remained in the locker room after halftime and was ruled out shortly after the second half began.
It’s unclear when the injury occurred or how severe it is at this moment. With multiple Achilles injuries in the past year, players have typically played it safe regarding calf injuries. Even if it’s not a major injury, Murray could miss some time.
Murray played 20 minutes in the first half, but he scored just two points on 1-of-4 shooting. He also added one rebound and one assist. Nique Clifford started the second half for Murray.
