The Oklahoma City Thunder came into Monday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies shorthanded. That only got worse in the fourth quarter when young guard Ajay Mitchell went to the locker room.
So far, it’s unclear what injury Oklahoma City’s latest breakout player sustained. With only three minutes left in the game, it’s possible that Mitchell will not return regardless of his injury status.
Mitchell scored 16 points in this game along with nine rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 22 minutes. He left the game with Oklahoma City leading comfortably.
