Lamar Jackson More Than 1.5 Touchdown Passes
Lamar Jackson needs to play like an MVP on Sunday night against the Patriots. If the Ravens win this game and the Steelers lose to the Lions, Baltimore would control its own destiny to win the AFC North. For the second straight week, the Patriots will be playing an experienced team fighting for playoff positioning. In the second half of that game, the New England defense could not stop Josh Allen. This game will be in Baltimore, and the Ravens will be even more desperate, which makes things even harder on the Patriots. The Patriots have a stout run defense and lead the league in opponent rushing touchdown percentage. However, that naturally means that they rank dead last in the league in opponent passing touchdown percentage. This season, 72.7% of touchdowns scored against the Patriots have come through the air. Jackson threw for two touchdowns last week against the Bengals and should do so again with the season on the line against New England.
TreVeyon Henderson More Than 0.5 Rushing + Receiving Touchdowns
TreVeyon Henderson has turned into one of the most explosive running backs in the NFL in recent weeks. He started the season splitting touches with Rhamondre Stevenson, but with Stevenson as the clear lead back. While both players still get touches, the roles have reversed with Henderson as the clear primary back. Over the past six games, Henderson has averaged 90.8 rushing yards per game. He has also scored seven of his eight touchdowns this season during that six-game stretch. If he played the whole season at that pace, he would statistically be one of the best running backs in the league. This will be a hostile road environment against the Ravens. To make matters easier on Drake Maye, the Patriots should try to establish the run and keep the ball away from Lamar Jackson. That should lead to a heavy dose of action for Henderson and allow him to add another touchdown to his season total.
Hunter Henry Less Than 40.5 Receiving Yards
It could be a quiet game for Hunter Henry against Baltimore. The Ravens cover tight ends very well. Measuring by fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends, the Ravens rank fourth in the NFL in tight end defense. The Patriots could come with a more run-heavy approach than they typically do. It will be a hostile environment against a defense that has been playing at a high level as of late. Both to make life easier on Maye and to take the crowd out of the game, the Patriots might try to slow the game down. Henry has also been quite inconsistent this season. While he has had some good games, he also has games like last week against the Bills in which he had just 18 receiving yards. Against a defense that defends tight ends as well as Baltimore does, it should be a quiet game for Henry.
