Best Saquon Barkley Prop Bets for Eagles vs. Commanders on Saturday 12/20/25

Last year’s debut Eagles campaign for Saquon Barkley went as well as possible. A 2,000-yard rushing season netted him the OPOY award and a third-place MVP finish on the road to a Super Bowl. This year hasn’t been as rosy; Barkley doesn’t have half as many yards so far, and his yards per carry have dropped drastically as the whole Eagles offense struggles. He’ll look to get back on track this Saturday against an old foe, the Washington Commanders.

Philadelphia is a seven-point favorite with -340 Moneyline odds, while Washington is a +270 outright underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game total is set at 44.5 points.

Here are my favorite Saquon Barkley player props for this Week 16 matchup between the Eagles and Commanders.

Best Saquon Barkley Prop Bets

I could bring up endless stats about the drop-off from 2024 Saquon to current Saquon, but I’ll leave it at this. He put up a whopping 11 100-yard rushing games in 16 appearances last season. This year, Barkley is down to two 100-yard rushing games in 14 appearances. The floor and the upside have both completely disappeared.

Some of this is due to the state of the offense. Philadelphia has suffered from Kellen Moore’s absence, the offensive coordinator who was integral to their Super Bowl push. Current OC Kevin Patullo has drawn plenty of ire for his shortcomings, and these have affected Barkley most of all. Still, he hasn’t been the same breakaway threat we saw last year, and it has changed the entire outlook of this team.

But, barring a complete disaster, the Eagles will be in the playoffs. A win over the rapidly collapsing Washington Commanders secures their hold over the NFC East. Two of their last three games will come against Washington, a chance to tune the offense up against one of the worst defenses in the league. It’s a real get-right opportunity for Barkley.

Getting a date with this Commanders run defense increases the appeal. Washington is 27th in yards allowed per attempt and 28th in total rushing yards allowed. If there’s a time for the explosive Barkley to show himself, now is the time. I believe that he can get back to his MVP-level self, at least for a day.

Best Bet: Saquon Barkley 80+ Rushing Yards (-117)
