It’s been a confusing season for Nottingham Forest, to say the least. After qualifying for the Europa League with their seventh-place finish in the EPL last year, that campaign has been a success. They’re 3-2-1 in group play and seem likely to qualify for the next stage. Life in the Premier League has been a different story; they’re 4-3-8 through 15 matches, and are just a hair above the relegation zone.
Frustrating losses to West Ham, Sunderland, and Bournemouth have cost them enough. Then there are the listless performances against sides they should be competitive with, like Everton and Brighton.
