One of the best football days of the year has arrived! Week 13 of the 2025 NFL season opens on Thursday, November 27 with the beloved Thanksgiving Day slate. This slate features multiple high-profile matchups and key fantasy players. Only a few weeks remain before the fantasy football playoffs start, which means it’s vital to make the right lineup decisions. Let’s break down my top start ’em, sit ’em Thanksgiving Day fantasy picks.
Start ‘Em: Xavier Worthy (Kansas City Chiefs) at Dallas Cowboys ($4,500)
Worthy has been a staple of my “sit of the week” section at wide receiver over his last few outings, and that label has come to fruition. The speedster has failed to score double-digit PPR points in four of his last five games as he deals with a minor ankle injury. Worthy hasn’t really been in jeopardy of missing time over that stretch, so his lack of production can really be chalked up other factors.
I believe that will change on Thanksgiving.
To put it frankly, the Cowboys’ secondary couldn’t stop a nosebleed. Dallas is allowing the second-most fantasy points to receivers and the third-most passing yards per contest. While it hasn’t translated to strong numbers, Worthy has seen at least seven targets in three of the Chiefs’ last four games. He should finally break out against this week Cowboys secondary.

Sit ‘Em: Romeo Doubs (Green Bay Packers) at Detroit Lions ($4,600)
I’ve been one of the biggest Romeo Doubs truthers this season, as the fourth-year receiver has ascended to No. 1 receiver status for Green Bay. Unfortunately, that just hasn’t been the case as of late, and in fantasy football, you need to know when to cut your losses.
Doubs has hauled in just seven passes over his last three games, failing to record double-digit points in any of those contests. Instead, it’s been Christian Watson who has assumed the top pass-catcher role upon his return. Doubs has seen a significant dip in snap share with Watson back. Even with a favorable matchup against the Lions, he’s a sit on Turkey Day.
Start ‘Em: Andrei Iosivas (Cincinnati Bengals) at Baltimore Ravens ($4,300)
Tee Higgins was quickly ruled out for Thursday’s contest after suffering what appeared to be a serious concussion against the Patriots in Week 12. While Ja’Marr Chase is returning from his one-game suspension, Iosivas is now presented with a massive opportunity in Joe Burrow’s first game since Week 2.
Iosivas has flashed significant potential in stretches this season. The product of Princeton has racked up at least 10 fantasy points in two of Cincy’s last three outings, proving his ability to produce with both Chase and Higgins in the lineup and with one of them sidelined. Now, he draws a matchup against a porous Ravens secondary.
Baltimore is allowing the ninth-most fantasy points to receivers. John Harbaugh’s squad is coming off a game in which it allowed John Metchie III to rack up six catches for 65 yards and a touchdown. Fire Iosivas up as a high-end WR3 with significant upside for this divisional duel.
Sit’ Em: David Montgomery (Detroit Lions) vs. Green Bay Packers ($4,800)
Montgomery has still seen a pretty high start percentage across redraft platforms over the last few weeks, but much like Doubs, it’s time to pivot for the foreseeable future.
Despite having been a featured member of the NFL’s hottest offense over the last few years, the 28-year-old has seen a notable drop in usage in 2025 as Jahmyr Gibbs establishes himself as arguably the best running back in football. Montgomery has received single-digit touches in back-to-back games, playing fewer than 40% of snaps in both contests. With a touch matchup against Green Bay’s run defense looming, it’s not worth the risk of playing the touchdown-or-bust game with the veteran.
