Mills entered after a C.J. Stroud concussion in Week 9 against Denver and ever since, he has gone to his star wideout early and often. Collins has received double-digit targets in each of his last three games while averaging 101 yards per contest.
The Bills’ secondary is no joke, however, ranking second in the NFL this season against the pass. That is likely the only reason why this total is only at 74.5, as Collins has received a ton of volume with Mills under center and will likely do so again on Thursday. It’s a tough matchup for Collins, but if he gets another 10+ targets, this total should be no problem.
Collins has played in nine games so far this season, going over this total five times. The possible game script could be helpful in this one too. Buffalo is a six-point favorite, and if they get out to a big lead, it will force Houston to throw the ball more than they would like.
