At the October 1 episode of AEW Dynamite, Andrade made his return to AEW, attacking Kenny Omega and joining forces with the Don Callis Family. Andrade became the first wrestler to go from WWE to AEW to WWE to AEW.

But on Thursday, Bryan Alvarez from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Andrade is not currently injured, and he has not appeared in the last two weeks due to his non-compete clause with WWE. On September 13, Andrade was fired from WWE due to multiple failures of their wellness policy. WWE reportedly contacted Andrade after he began competing elsewhere following his release and stated that he is still subject to their 90-day non-compete period, according to PWInsider.

Tony Khan said at the AEW WrestleDream media call that he is excited for what’s next for Andrade. Khan didn’t dive into the details about why he isn’t on AEW television or when he will return. Also, Bryan Alvarez reported that new TKO contracts have a one-year non-compete clause if you are fired for cause.
