All 30 teams are in action once again today, with 13 games scheduled for this evening. Like yesterday, there is a chance of showers in some spots, but nothing that will likely cause a full PPD. Here’s some MLB picks and props to consider for September 24 and make sure to check out the DraftKings Network Betting Splits page to see how the public is betting the action.

MLB Odds & Storylines

The Tigers’ late-season implosion continued yesterday, with the Guardians getting to AL Cy Young favorite Tarik Skubal in a 5-2 win, putting the two teams in a tie in the AL Central. The two teams are at it again tonight at Progressive Field, as Jack Flaherty (8-14; 4.60 ERA; 1.28 WHIP) takes on Tanner Bibee (11-11; 4.34 ERA; 1.23 WHIP). The Guardians are -1.5 favorites on the run line on DraftKings Sportsbook and the stats page notes that Jose Ramirez has recorded a single in four of the Guardians’ last five home games vs. the Tigers (Ramirez to hit 1+ Singles — +100).

Meanwhile, the Red Sox kept pace in the Wild Card standings with a 4-1 victory over the Blue Jays last night despite a short start from Lucas Giolito. Boston remains one game up in the race for the second Wild Card spot behind the Yankees and tonight will send ace Garrett Crochet (17-5; 2.69 ERA; 1.05 WHIP) to the mound. The Red Sox are -1.5 favorites on the run line, and Crochet is -111 to throw 7+ strike outs, which he has done in each of his last three outings. The Red Sox have won each of his last six starts.

Finally, the Mariners can clinch an AL West title with either a win over the Rockies or an Astros loss to the Athletics. Seattle will send Luis Castillo (10-8; 3.63 ERA; 1.23 WHIP) to the hill and enters on a five-game winning streak. The Mariners are -1.5 favorites on the run line, although they have trailed after three innings in each of their last five night games vs. NL West opponents (Rockies to lead after 3 innings — +195). However, I’m eying Cal Raleigh’s home run prop. The Big Dumper has surpased Ken Griffey Jr.’s Mariners single-season home run record and enters the action tonight just two home runs short of becoming the seventh player in MLB history to hit 60 bombs in a single season. His odds to hit 2+ home runs currently sit at +1500.
