2025 NFL Week 2 Fantasy Football Scoring Leaders: Amon-Ra St. Brown, Malik Nabers, Ja’Marr Chase

Before you set your fantasy football lineups for your upcoming matchup, it’s time to take a look back at which players performed the best in Week 2.

Tucker Kraft and Zach Ertz jumped out at the tight end position on Thursday Night Football, while a handful of Detroit Lions and New York Giants popped off in the early slate on Sunday. Eight running backs, 12 receivers, 15 quarterbacks and a defense cleared 20 points, meaning there were plenty of heroes across the board.

Here is a roundup of the players who led their respective positions in fantasy points during Week 2:

Quarterback Scoring Leaders

  1. Jared Goff (DET): 37.0 points
  2. Russell Wilson (NYG): 34.3 points
  3. Bryce Young (CAR): 26.3 points
  4. Lamar Jackson (BAL): 26.3 points
  5. Drake Maye (NE): 26.3 points
  6. Dak Prescott (DAL): 26.1 points
  7. Daniel Jones (IND): 25.8 points
  8. Patrick Mahomes (KC): 23.1 points
  9. Mac Jones (SF): 22.8 points
  10. Tua Tagovailoa (MIA): 22.6 points

Jared Goff was a few tenths off from a perfect passer rating, but he couldn’t have done much better in fantasy players’ eyes. The veteran completed 82.1% of his passes, racking up 334 yards and five touchdowns without a turnover. Most teams would have taken their foot off the gas and limited their quarterback’s fantasy ceiling in the midst of a blowout, but Dan Campbell kept the pedal to the metal from start to finish against Ben Johnson and the Bears.

Running Back Scoring Leaders

  1. Jonathan Taylor (IND): 32.5 points
  2. James Cook (BUF): 29.5 points
  3. De’Von Achane (MIA): 26.2 points
  4. Javonte Williams (DAL): 25.0 points
  5. Bijan Robinson (ATL): 22.8 points
  6. Christian McCaffrey (SF): 22.7 points
  7. Kenneth Walker III (SEA): 21.8 points
  8. Rhamondre Stevenson (NE): 21.2 points
  9. Jahmyr Gibbs (DET): 19.4 points
  10. Chuba Hubbard (CAR): 18.7 points

Even with Daniel Jones vulturing some of the goal line work, Taylor was borderline infallible on Sunday. He had a 43-yard catch, plus another seven-yard reception that he took into the end zone. And while he didn’t rush for a touchdown, he went for 165 yards on the ground off of 25 carries. No other Colts running back got a single touch, and Taylor now stands alone as the NFL’s leading rusher.

Wide Receiver Scoring Leaders

  1. Amon-Ra St. Brown (DET): 42.2 points
  2. Malik Nabers (NYG): 40.7 points
  3. Ja’Marr Chase (CIN): 39.5 points
  4. Rome Odunze (CHI): 34.8 points
  5. Wan’Dale Robinson (NYG): 31.2 points
  6. Puka Nacua (LAR): 27.6 points
  7. Davante Adams (LAR): 25.6 points
  8. Troy Franklin (DEN): 24.0 points
  9. Hunter Renfrow (CAR): 23.8 points
  10. CeeDee Lamb (DAL): 23.2 points

Fresh off a disappointing outing in Week 1, Amon-Ra St. Brown was the focal point of Detroit’s offense in Week 2. Goff made sure to feed him deep in enemy territory, hitting him for three touchdowns. The superstar wideout finished the afternoon with 115 yards on nine receptions, plus nine yards on two carries.

Tight End Scoring Leaders

  1. Tucker Kraft (GB): 27.4 points
  2. Zach Ertz (WAS): 18.4 points
  3. Jake Ferguson (DAL): 16.8 points
  4. Juwan Johnson (NO): 15.9 points

Tucker Kraft scored a touchdown in Week 1, but he only had two catches on four targets. His volume shot through the roof four days later, when he hauled in six of his seven targets for 124 yards. Kraft added another touchdown, too, continuing to prove his value in the red zone.
