Summer is winding down, football is almost back and we’ve made it through the dog days. But that doesn’t mean the sneaker drops are dying down.
This month will see the re-release of one of the biggest sneaker collabs of all time, not to mention the debut of Nike SB’s take on the Air Max 95. In this article we’ll explore every top sneaker release in August 2025, including the Undefeated Air Jordan 4, Nike SB Air Max 95, and more. Keep checking back for drop dates, pricing, and buying links.

Top Kick Pick of the Month
Undefeated Air Jordan 4 — August 2 (Undefeated); August 28 (SNKRS) ($230)

The last two years have seen a number of Nike grails come out of the vault and find their way onto shelves, to varying degrees of success. No matter how you feel about these re-releases, and trust me there are a lot of opinions flying around on Sneaker Twitter, there’s no doubt that the Undefeated Air Jordan 4 is one of the biggest releases of the year.
Not only does the Air Jordan 4 remain a seminal model in the Air Jordan line — and one of its most popular, as well — but this is the return of the collab that really started it all. The Undefeated Air Jordan 4 was limited to just 72 pairs back when it released in 2005, making it one of the most desired and least available models in the history of Jordan Brand.
The 2025 edition of the Undefeated Air Jordan 4 maintains most of the details of the original — olive green upper, black wings, black outsole and sail outsole with orange accent hits. However, one major difference intended to help differentiate the 2025 model from the OG is the fact that the Jumpman logo has been replaced on the heel with Nike Air branding. In most instances, this would be welcomed by sneakerheads. However, the may be the lone instance in the history of Jordan Brand where sneakerheads are actually clamoring for the Jumpman logo on the heel INSTEAD of the OG Nike Air.
The shoe will have two releases — on the Undefeated site on August 2 and then reportedly on SNKRS on August 28 — and will have a retail price of $230. If you want to learn even more about the history of this legendary collab, you can check out a documentary on the Undefeated web site or this interview Complex’s Matt Welty did with Undefeated creative director Chris Gibbs and co-founder James Bond.
