The PGA TOUR heads back stateside this week to Minnesota for the 3M Open. TPC Twin Cities will be the host course, and measures as a 7,431-yard par 71 with Bentgrass greens.
We’ve got another stacked 156-player field this week with a 36-hole cut. Even though it’s just a week after a major, the field remains strong, with players like Sam Burns, Maverick McNealy, Tony Finau, and Wyndham Clark all set to tee it up.
Below, I have outlined three of my favorite DraftKings plays for the week.

Taylor Pendrith ($9,400)
This course seems like the perfect spot for Pendrith to add another victory to his resume. He thrives on longer, birdie-friendly tracks where distance is key, and this TPC Twin Cities layout certainly plays to those strengths. Pendrith has only played this event twice, missing one cut but securing a solo fifth-place finish last year.
He’s had an impressive season so far, with four top-10 finishes across 20 starts, including a T5 at the PGA Championship and a T7 at Torrey Pines. While he missed the cut at The Open last week, he’s in good form overall, having finished T13 at the Scottish two weeks ago.
Pendrith currently ranks 12th in SG: Tee-to-Green and seventh in SG: Total over his last 24 rounds. His game is incredibly well-rounded, sitting no lower than 52nd in any Strokes Gained category during that stretch.
Despite his strong 2025 season and his course history here, Pendrith still sits as the sixth most expensive golfer on DraftKings this week at $9,400, making him one of the more appealing options at the top of the board
Cameron Champ ($7,900)
We’re officially in the heart of Cameron Champ season as we head into the dog days of summer and these birdie-fest, alternate field events. This is where Champ really shines, particularly at this event, where he took home the trophy in 2021 and has since posted two top-16 finishes across his last two starts here.
Unfortunately, Champ missed the cut at the Barracuda Championship last week, but prior to that, he had been in solid form. The three-time PGA TOUR winner notched three top-19 finishes in his previous four starts, including a T9 at the RBC Canadian Open.
During this stretch, Champ’s rolling numbers are some of the best in the field, ranking No. 1 in SG: Off-the-Tee, fourth in SG: Tee-to-Green, and third in Total Strokes Gained. His driver has always been his biggest weapon, and while driving distance isn’t everything at TPC Twin Cities, it certainly gives him an edge, especially with the course stretching over 7,400 yards.
At just $7,900 Champ is a really nice value this week.
Doug Ghim ($7,300)
Ghim appears to be finding his rhythm, having finished T31 or better in each of his last three starts, including a pair of top-20s at the Barracuda and Rocket Classic. While we don’t have Strokes Gained data from the ‘Cuda due to it being an alternate event, over his past eight rounds, Ghim ranks second in SG: Tee-to-Green, just behind Rico Hoey, while also sitting fifth in SG: Ball-Striking and 15th in Total Strokes Gained.
Ghim hasn’t posted a win on the PGA TOUR yet, but he’s one of the best ball-strikers around when in form, and it feels like he’s due for a breakthrough sooner rather than later. This could be the week, especially since he seems to have a strong affinity for Minnesota. Ghim has played this event every year for the past five seasons, making four-of-five cuts, with four top-27 finishes during that stretch.
For Ghim, it always comes down to the putter. But if he can roll it even at an average level this week, his ball-striking is strong enough to put him right in the mix come Sunday.
