Pre-Fight Odds

Before the fight, Usyk was a -300 favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook. Usyk was also +115 to beat Dubois by KO/TKO/DQ. The over/under was set at 9.5 rounds before this contest.

5:40 p.m. ET: Oleksandr Usyk defeats Daniel Dubois by knockout

Dubois landed a massive right hand at the start of the fifth round. The crowd is behind Usyk. Uysk dropped Dubois with 1:30 left in the fifth. Dubois followed that up with another knockdown, but Dubois was unable to return to his feet the second time.

Usyk is now 2-0 against Dubois and has knocked him out twice. The Champion is 24-0 with 15 knockouts in his career. Usyk has now cemented himself as one of the greatest Heavyweight Champions of all time.

5:35 p.m. ET: Usyk vs. Dubois – Round 4

Usyk landed multiple clean shots on Dubois. Dubois needs to do a better job on defense. Usyk is an excellent counter-puncher and is allowing Dubois to throw first. Usyk is getting more comfortable as the fight progresses.

Dubois landed a few good punches to begin the round. Usyk displayed elite head movement in this round. Later in the round, Usyk landed a massive right hand and is starting to get the better of Dubois.

10-9, 29-28 Usyk

5:27 p.m. ET: Usyk vs. Dubois – Round 2

Dubois’ confidence remains high from his previous two fights. Usyk seems slow to start this fight, and Dubois continues to get the better of him. But in the final minute of the second round, Usyk landed the biggest punch of the fight.

5:23 p.m. ET: Usyk vs. Dubois – Round 1

Usyk landed a nice right hand to begin the fight. Dubois got going with a combination, but Usyk had Dubois moving backwards. Dubois had a better second half of the round. Usyk needs to increase his output as Dubois started backing him down against the ropes.
