2025 NFL Best Ball ADP Risers

RB Omarion Hampton, Chargers | ADP: 43.4 (largest riser)

Omarion Hampton is a riser in the Best Ball community for multiple reasons. The most obvious being the injury to Najee Harris. Harris was expected to be the primary back in Los Angeles, with rookie Omarion Hampton backing him up as a more explosive option. However, Harris suffered a non-football-related injury to his eye on the 4th of July. While Harris is expected to be ready for the season, this could end up being a lingering issue. Even if Harris is completely healthy, there is momentum building around Hampton. He was one of the most exciting offensive weapons in this draft class, while Harris has struggled to produce the last couple of years in Pittsburgh. Jaylen Warren started to take a lot of touches from Harris last season in Pittsburgh, and the same could happen with Hampton in Los Angeles.

RB Jerome Ford, Browns | ADP: 193.8 (second-largest)

Jerome Ford is rising for somewhat similar reasons to Hampton. Ford was the long-serving backup to Nick Chubb in Cleveland, who ended up getting a lot of action due to all of Chubb’s injury woes the last couple of seasons. Nick Chubb has moved on to Houston, but the Browns brought in rookie running back Quinshon Judkins to be their new lead back. Judkins is now involved in serious criminal allegations off the field, which could impact his rookie season and potentially his NFL career with a suspension or actual criminal charges. If Judkins misses time this season, Ford could have a big role in the offense once again.

The Browns also drafted Dylan Sampson at running back in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. At the time, it seemed foolish to draft two running backs so high, but with Judkins’ issues keeping him out of training camp, the Browns are happy to have Sampson. If Judkins is out, it would be a duo of Ford and Sampson doing most of the work for Cleveland in the backfield. However, if these allegations end up not affecting Judkins’ season, Ford will likely play a small backup role in the Cleveland offense.

QB Dak Prescott, Cowboys | ADP: 103.4 (sixth-largest)

Dak Prescott’s stock has also been on the rise over the past week. Prescott missed most of last season with an injury, but is expected to be at 100% heading into this season. If Prescott is healthy, he has been one of the most productive quarterbacks in the NFL. The Cowboys operate a pass-heavy offense, and they have one of the top-three receivers in the NFL, CeeDee Lamb. In 2023-24, Dak Prescott ranked third in the NFL in passing yards and first in passing touchdowns. If he can get close to that form this season, he will be one of the best fantasy quarterbacks in the NFL. The Cowboys also added George Pickens this offseason to be the WR2 next to Lamb. While Pickens has had attitude issues at times, he is one of the most talented receivers in the league. If everything clicks, this could be one of the best passing offenses in the NFL this season, making Prescott a valuable commodity.
