The champion is known for his exceptional fight IQ and defensive skills. Stevenson is a selective puncher and likes to pick apart his opponents throughout the contest. Zepeda has 27 knockouts and is powerful, but he hasn’t faced someone as skilled as Stevenson yet. As Stevenson has gained more experience, he has become a more aggressive fighter recently.
In this fight, I believe Stevenson’s combination of quickness, elite defense, and power punches will be too much for Zepeda. Stevenson has won two of his previous four bouts by TKO and has 11 knockouts in his career. If Stevenson wants to fight the best lightweight in the world, Gervonta Davis, a victory in spectacular fashion is needed.
