Najee Harris attended an event on July 4th that experienced a fireworks mishap. Harris suffered a superficial eye injury but is fully expected to be ready for the season.
Whew! The fantasy football community still suffers PTSD when fireworks and NFL player are mentioned together after what happened to Jason Pierre-Paul back in 2015.
Harris hasn’t missed a game in his four-year NFL career. Although he was signed for only one year and the Los Angeles Chargers drafted running back Omarion Hampton in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, Harris is still expected to be a key figure in the run-oriented offense of the Chargers.
His availability and health puts a damper on the fantasy prospects for Hampton, but if Harris were to miss games Hampton would see a significant increase in value.
