Prior to the start of the season, the Boston Celtics were the favorites to win it all at +310 on DraftKings Sportsbook. And for good reason, as they were the defending champs. But injuries decimated their season and a new champion was crowned.

The Oklahoma City Thunder had the second-lowest preseason odds of hoisting the Larry O’Brien trophy at +700 on Oct. 17, 2024. After a dominant regular season, the Thunder completed the journey with a Game 7 win in the Finals on Sunday, June 22.

The Indiana Pacers were at +6000 on Oct. 17, 2024, the 16th-lowest odds. They came within one game of being crowned, so don’t dismiss those teams lower down the ladder.

That being said, the odds for the 2025-26 NBA Finals are already up on DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Thunder are the current favorites at +240. They are the defending champions, are young and could be the next dynasty in the NBA.

After the Kevin Durant trade, the Houston Rockets are tied for second at +750 with the New York Knicks.

The Orlando Magic added Desmond Bane and are +1800 to win it all, while the Indiana Pacers, who will likely be without Tyrese Haliburton next season, are also +1800.

Here’s how the rest of the field stacks up:
