DraftKings WNBA Pick6 Fantasy Basketball Picks: Top Plays for Thursday 6/19/25

WNBA action on Thursday will kick off at 7 p.m. ET with the Phoenix Mercury and New York Liberty tipping off. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year isย Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!

This article will examine my top Pick6 plays for today’s action. You simply choose whether each set statistic will be more or less than the set number. With the stage set, here are my favorite picks on the WNBA slate.

Sabrina Ionescu More Than 19.5 Points

I’m riding with Sabrina until the wheels fall off. She can’t stop this hot streak.

Over her past three games, Sab has racked up 23, 34, and 34 points. It’s a hot streak that feels unstoppable. Doing it in their last match against a strong Atlanta Dream defense proves that a hot scorer can overcome anything in their path. This Mercury defense is awfully tough, but I don’t know if it matters right now against Sabrina Ionescu. Sit back and watch her pour in the points against Phoenix.

Natasha Cloud Less Than 8.5 Points

While the points pour in for Sabrina, they’ve dried up entirely for Natasha Cloud. The newest Liberty guard got off on the right foot in her first three games of the season. Cloud scored 18.7 PPG on 56% shooting, including 50% from three. In the eight games since Tasha is scoring 5.1 PPG on 27% shooting and 19% from deep.

The 33-year-old is a much better offensive player than this and will bounce back eventually. But against this strong Phoenix defense, and with Sabrina commanding so many touches, I’m not counting on the regression to the norm starting on Thursday.

Alyssa Thomas More Than 29.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

It’s been a triumphant return to the lineup for Alyssa Thomas. After missing several games due to a calf injury, AT has hit the ground running. Phoenix has won all three games since she returned, including a victory last night against the Connecticut Sun. Thomas’ first game back in CT after 11 seasons was typical, as she recorded 14 points, eight rebounds, and 11 assists.

This Liberty defense is a different task compared to the Sun’s. Jonquel Jones causes problems for everyone all over the floor, and Natasha Cloud is a problem as well. Oh, and there’s Breanna Stewart. And Leonie Fiebich. And Kennedy Burke. Their defensive depth is unlimited.

Still, AT is AT. The WNBA’s all-time triple-double queen finds a way to stuff the stat sheet no matter what. I’m backing Alyssa Thomas as always.

What is DraftKings Pick6?

Pick6 is a peer-to-peer fantasy variant where you build a lineup (your โ€œPick Setโ€) of 2+ players and select whether or not you believe each will outperform their listed stat projection. Enter your Pick Set in Pick6 contests to compete against other users. Get enough picks correct and win a share of cash prizes.

How to Play

Create a Pick Set

Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.

Sweat Your Picks

When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.

Compete for Prizes
