Just two weeks ago, Inter Milan was on the losing end of one of the most embarrassing results in football history, a 5-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final that was the largest blowout in ever in that round of the competition. Now, the Nerazzurri will have have a chance to get their redemption by winning the first-ever expanded FIFA Club World Cup.
They kick off their competition at 9 p.m. ET against Liga MX outfit Monterrey at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif.
DAZN will carry this match for free as part of the streaming giant’s big swing on the Club World Cup.
Unsurprisingly, the Italian runners-up are huge favorites to take all three points against the Mexican club, as DraftKings Sportsbook lists them as -180 favorites on the Moneyline. Given their run to the UCL final, their status as the favorite is deserved, but Monterrey shouldn’t be counted out, given that they finished a solid fifth in Liga MX this season.
