Ketel Marte More Than 0.5 Home Runs
Ketel Marte makes his return from the IL tonight against the Phillies. It has been almost a full month since he last played on April 4. It would be a great story if Marte hit a home run in his first game back after that long time out. Luckily for Marte, this is a pitching matchup that he should feel confident in. He’s 5-for-13 in his career against Aaron Nola, and two of those five hits have been home runs. That is a 1.077 career SLG against Nola. Prior to his injury, Marte was hitting the ball well, batting .346 with an OPS of .930. Nola has struggled this season, with an ERA of 5.40 heading into this game. He has given up six home runs in six starts so far, and Marte has a great chance to add another one to that tally.
Christian Yelich More Than 1.5 Total Bases
After a slow start to the season, Christian Yelich is starting to find his form. Since April 14th, he has a .283 batting average and has driven in 13 runs in 14 games. Yelich should feel confident heading into this game, especially getting to face Jameson Taillon. Yelich has had great success in his career against Taillon, slashing .333/.394/.567 in 30 career at-bats. Yelich has had multiple hits in four of his past eight games. If he gets multiple hits, he will automatically go over this number. However, he can also get over 1.5 total bases by hitting an extra-base hit, which he has done consistently in his career against Taillon. Yelich has become largely a non-factor against left-handed pitching, but he has a tOPS+ of 144 against right-handed pitching this season. He should have a big game against Taillon and total more than 1.5 bases.
William Contreras Less Than 0.5 Singles
William Contreras, unlike his teammate, has struggled against Taillon throughout his career. In 17 career plate appearances against Taillon, he has only reached base three times. Of those three successful plate appearances, two were singles and one was a walk. So, Contreras has never been able to generate an extra-base hit in 17 plate appearances against Taillon. Throughout his career, Contreras has been better against left-handed pitching, and he has better numbers away from home than he does in Milwaukee. Contreras went 0-for-4 in his last game, and after that poor game, his confidence could be low facing a pitcher that he has not found success against in the past.
Jordan Hicks Less Than 5.5 Strikeouts Thrown
Jordan Hicks takes on the Rockies today in San Francisco. Hicks’ strikeout prop is heavily inflated due to the fact that the Rockies have been so poor at the plate this season. This prop is set at 5.5 strikeouts thrown, a number he’s only exceeded once this season. Hicks had six strikeouts in his first start of the season, but since then, Hicks has had five or fewer strikeouts in each of his past five starts. Part of the problem is that Hicks has struggled with control and has not been able to go deep into games. Over those past five starts, he has only gone longer than 5.1 innings once. In only five innings of work, it’s hard to get over 5.5 strikeouts when struggling with control. He can still rack up outs against Colorado without picking up strikeouts, so he should stay under this number.
Carlos Santana More Than 1.5 Total Bases
The veteran first baseman still has some pop in his bat. Santana has four hits in his past four games and should feel confident heading into today’s game. Kevin Gausman will be on the bump for Toronto, a pitcher that Santana has been great against in his career. Santana is 7-for-21 in his career against Gausman, and five of those seven hits have been extra-base hits. That comes out to a career .667 SLG for Santana against Gausman. Gausman has also been poor in his past few starts. He has a 4.50 ERA this season and has given up a combined ten runs in his past two starts. A pitcher lacking confidence, facing a hitter who has crushed him in the past is a good recipe for success here. Santana should be able to record an extra-base hit and get over 1.5 total bases.
Anthony Volpe More Than 0.5 Runs Batted In
Anthony Volpe is having a good run of form in the loaded Yankees lineup. Since April 25, Volpe is batting .385 with four RBIs and four runs scored over seven games. Volpe is in a great spot in the Yankees’ lineup, batting sixth today behind so many great hitters. There are almost always men on base when Volpe comes up, which greatly increases his chance of picking up an RBI. Volpe also has a favorable matchup against Zack Littell today. In his career, Volpe is 5-for-8 against Littell and two of those five hits have been home runs. Volpe should be beaming with confidence getting to face a pitcher against whom he has a 1.375 career SLG. The Yankees are also playing at home, which always increases the chances of a home run or an RBI in the hitter-friendly ballpark. Volpe has been much better at home this season, sporting a 140 tOPS+ at Yankee Stadium this year.

In each Pick Set, you cannot pick the same player twice and you must pick players from at least two different teams.
Enter an Amount
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.

When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
