TODAY’S MOST BET MLB PLAYER PROPS

BREAK IT DOWN:
Aaron Judge 1+ Home Runs (+165): Judge starts the day in a three-way tie for the MLB lead with 10 home runs on the season. His 10 taters have come in 140 plate appearances across 31 games this season. Seven of those 10 blasts have come at home at Yankee Stadium, where he has a .444 batting average and .745 wOBA. Judge is coming home after a huge series in Baltimore, where he went 7-for-15 (.467) with multiple hits in every game and home runs in each of his last two games before Thursday’s off-day. On Friday, Judge has a solid matchup against Rays’ starter Ryan Pepiot as well, who has given up eight home runs in six starts, including two to the Yankees when he faced them earlier this season in Tampa. Judge is 2-for-6 against Pepiot in his career but has not taken him deep yet.
Shohei Ohtani 1+ Home Runs (+235): Ohtani to hit a home run is the second-most bet prop on the board this Friday. Ohtani and the Dodgers are on the road in Atlanta against Grant Holmes, in another rematch from earlier in the season. Holmes has been good in his two home starts but given up 14 runs and five home runs in his five starts this season. Three of those home runs came from his last start against the Dbacks in Eugenio Suarez’s monster game. Ohtani will look to find similar success on Friday. He has seven homers on the season, including one during his current five-game hitting streak. He has four barrels and a 92.3% hard-hit rate over his last five games, so he is seeing and smashing the ball right now, making him a good play at this number.
Kyle Schwarber 1+ Home Runs (+220): Speaking of smashing, Schwarber is the third-most bet prop of the day so far as he looks to keep schmashing (?) against the Dbacks and Merrill Kelly in the early game in Philly. Schwarber has nine long balls on the season and hit two home runs in the first three games of the Phillies’ home stand. He homered against the Nats on Tuesday and Wednesday before going 0-for-3 on Thursday. Schwarber is 3-for-11 in his career against Kelly, and two of those three hits have been home runs. Throughout his career, Kelly has held lefties to a low batting average but allowed above-average power on that side of the split.
