The Oklahoma City Thunder and Dallas Mavericks will face off in the second round of the 2024 NBA Playoffs after both sides advanced from their respective first-round series. The Thunder took care of the Pelicans in four games, while the Mavericks finally got the better of the Clippers in a six-game series. These two teams were in the play-in zone last season, with the Thunder ultimately getting the No. 10 seed after the Mavericks strategically tanked the final few games of the season. Now, both will meet for a chance to reach the conference finals. The Thunder won three of the four meetings between the two sides this season.
