The NASCAR Xfinity Series continues its 2024 season on Friday and Saturday with practice, qualifying, and racing at Texas Motor Speedway. The Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 is scheduled for Saturday afternoon, but on Friday, we’ll see Xfinity practice and qualifying at 6 p.m. ET and 6:30 p.m., respectively. All events will air on FS1.
Qualifying will feature a single-car, one-lap format with the fastest qualifier claiming pole position. The rest of the starting lineup will be organized based on individual qualifying time.
Chandler Smith heads into qualifying as a slim favorite over Justin Allgaier at DraftKings Sportsbook. Smith is +320 and Allgaier is +330 to win on Saturday. Cole Custer and Austin Hill follow at +650 and Ryan Truex rounds out the top five at +850. John H. Nemechek is the defending champ and winner of two of the past three races, but is not competing this year.
